£30,000 - £40,000 + Shift allowance for nights

Days shifts; Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00, Friday 07:00 - 12:00

Night shifts is Monday to Thursday 16.00 - 02.15

Performance Objectives

  • As a CNC Turner or Miller, you will support the operations, CNC turning and milling to help create world-class components for the aerospace sector.
  • Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC Machines: Utilise Mazatrol Control systems to achieve precise machining of components.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow engineers, machinists, and quality assurance teams to ensure the highest standards are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests to maintain and improve quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly maintain machines and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all machining processes and outcomes for traceability and compliance purposes.

Person Specification

  • You will need previous experience in CNC Turning or 4 & 5 Axis Milling.
  • You will need previous experience using Mazatrol systems, this is essential.
  • You will be a team player who can thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for precision engineering.
  • With experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, you will possess the technical know-how to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • You will bring a proactive attitude and attention to detail ensure that you consistently produce high-quality work while contributing positively to team dynamics.
