Factory Operative
- Permanent position
- Location: Harlow
- Rate: £13.00 p/hr
- Part-Time: Flexible working hours
- Choice of working either 30 or 35 per week, across 4 or 5 days
An established precision engineering company is seeking a Factory Operative / Material Handler. This engaging and diverse hands-on role includes various responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness in the factory and yard, handling materials and assisting in keeping the site orderly.
This position would suit someone who is semi-retired or looking for part time hours.
Duties:
- Keeping the factory and yard area clean, tidy and organised.
- Taking deliveries - Goods in.
- Packing and picking duties.
- Cleaning down engineering machines and topping up oil levels
- Emptying metal swarf bins.
- General cleaning duties of the site.
- Performing some basic gardening tasks such as grass cutting, cutting back bushes etc.
- Supporting various sections of the factory as needed.
