Finishing Manager
I'm recruiting on behalf of a very busy main contractor who operate in the nationwide and specialise in new build education projects on behalf of the DFE.
About the role:
You will be working alongside an on site Senior Site Manager, looking after the internal packages on a 50m new build school from 1st fix. The contract will run for the next 10-12months.
Responsibilities for Finishing Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites.
- Enforce health & safety protocols, manage risks, and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to keep the project on track.
- Maintain quality standards by monitoring workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications.
- When challenges arise, you will find solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Effectively communicate by liaising with team members, report progress, and address concerns.
Requirement for Finishing Manager:
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- FAAW
