The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.Responsibilities for the Commercial Lawyer role:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and licensing agreements and more.
  • Advising clients on corporate governance and compliance issues.
  • Broad commercial contract experience including (but not limited to) advising on and preparing
  • Master service agreements, framework agreements, and other procurement-related contracts (including experience of working as a member of the project team on such matters, helping clients to identify risks and mitigate these appropriately)
  • Supply of goods and services
  • E-commerce contracts and related documentation;
  • Conducting due diligence and assisting with transactional matters.
  • Providing legal support and guidance on general corporate and commercial issues.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Apportion your time between fee-earning, business development and supervising for junior members

Requirements for the Commercial Lawyer role:

  • Qualified solicitor CILEX or FILEX in England and Wales
  • 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contract law principles.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working on cross-border transactions is a plus.
