Job Title: Logistics Assistant
Main Purpose:
To ensure the smooth running of product movements within the warehouse environment.
To ensure our client's policies and procedures are followed, and that Good Manufacturing Practices are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Based in the factory warehouse, assisting with unloading deliveries and loading product orders on a daily basis.
- Assisting with distribution and rotation of product.
- Ensuring safe systems of work and adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintaining housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Ensuring batch codes are clearly attached to all raw materials on entry to the factory.
- Managing stock rotation and return of recycled packaging.
- Collating orders and entering data into Intact software.
- Passing on completed work to ensure process efficiency.
- Checking all orders for accuracy prior to vehicle loading.
- Liaising with external logistics operators.

Required Qualities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with team members.
Computer literate.
Competent in using a forklift and electric pallet trucks.
Punctual, with a high level of timekeeping.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude toward problem-solving.
Accuracy in recording batch codes on dispatch paperwork for mass balance reconciliations.
Contract Details:
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with two 30-minute unpaid breaks)
Holiday: 28 days per year
Salary: £28,800 per annum £12.30 PH
Probation: Salary increases to £29,300 per annum £12.50 PH following successful completion of a 12-week probation period
