Electrical/Automation Engineer
Location: Commutable from Bishop's Stortford, Epping, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted, and surrounding areas
Salary: 拢38,000-拢45,000 + OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00
Sector: FMCG (Permanent)
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical/Automation Engineer to join their maintenance team. This is a hands-on role, integrating electrical and mechanical systems, maintaining machinery, and supporting production in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
路Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
路Work with PLCs, including Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley control logic.
路Integrate and maintain PCs and automated systems.
路Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
路Respond to callouts as part of a rotational system managed by the team.
路Ensure compliance with UK wiring regulations (17th or 18th Edition).
Requirements:
路Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
路Experience with PLCs such as Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley.
路Hold 17th or 18th Edition certification.
路Completed an apprenticeship or have equivalent post-college experience.
路Previous experience in an FMCG or automated manufacturing environment is advantageous.
