Duties;
Receiving Goods
- Unload deliveries using reach truck, pallet trucks, or by hand.
Stock Control and Storage
- Store items in designated locations according to stock control systems.
Picking and Packing Orders
- Pick items according to order sheets or system instructions.
- Check picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Pack goods securely for dispatch using appropriate materials.
Dispatch and Shipping
- Load outgoing deliveries safely and correctly.
Health & Safety and Housekeeping
- Keep warehouse clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Follow health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling.
- Use PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.
- Report hazards, damages, or safety concerns to management.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
- Operate reach truck , pallet trucks, and other warehouse machinery (if certified).
- Report faulty or damaged equipment to the appropriate team.
This role is an Immediate start and would have the opportunity to go permanent for the right person!
