Interim Financial Controller

Duration: 6-12 months interim, with potential for permanent conversion

Role Overview: We are working with a great, growing SME in seeking a dedicated financial controller to join their team on an interim basis. This role involves taking over operational duties, including the production, managing the finance team and delivery of monthly management information. You will assist in managing audit queries and other operational ad hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production and delivery of monthly management information.
  • Assist in managing audit queries and other operational ad hoc requests.
  • Collaborate on the iterative evolution of financial information via Excel and Power Query.
  • Managing and developing the finance team.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Broad prior experience, with exposure to the driving efficiency's in a range of financial functions in SMEs.
  • Skills:
    • Proven people leader.
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • Ability to write well and produce board papers, presentations, and project plans.
    • Good presentation skills.
  • On-site presence required 3 days a week, coordinated with the team lead.
