General Production Operative

Location: Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 9RZ
Salary: £25,636.96 @ £12.25 per hour + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Fixed term contract – 3 – 6 Months

We are now recruiting for motivated and reliable General Production Workers to join our team!

You will play a key role in facilitating process improvements on the production line while ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

As our General Production Operative you will be responsible for:

Assisting with process line operations to ensure seamless flow.
Handling materials, including wrapping and moving pallets efficiently.
Packing finished goods, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area.
Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work on a continental shift pattern (24/7).
Strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
Team player with a proactive attitude. An understanding and awareness of health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a production setting
A good level of fitness
Fluent English – ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and understand both written and verbal work instructions
