NET Recruit are partnering with a successful manufacturing business to search for a Management Accountant in Harrogate.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, and maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Conducting variance analysis and investigating discrepancies to support financial accuracy and control
  • Producing daily, weekly, and monthly management reports to inform internal stakeholders and drive decision-making
  • Supporting the Finance Director in preparing year-end statutory accounts and R&D submissions
  • Delivering regular KPI reporting to track business performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparation and review of cash flow forecasts
  • Managing the company’s invoice factoring facility, ensuring timely submissions and reconciliations
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and in line with company deadlines
  • Supporting on transactional duties during periods of absence, including Sales Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Credit Control activities
  • Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and audit requirements
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Be a fully qualified accountant, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA ideally
  • Possess experience as a Management Accountant or from within a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of ledger management principles and month-end processes
  • Strong IT proficiency, including accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel which would ideally be intermediate or advanced level
  • Analytical and excellent attention to detail
  • Exquisite communication skills, both in written and verbal form
