Assistant Accountant, Part Time Hours, Harrogate based with Remote working

Are you an Assistant Accountant looking for a new challenge?  Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to become a key part of their expanding finance team.

You will be supporting the Accountant and CFO in various areas of financial operations for a Harrogate based company.  This is a dynamic team, multi-cultural environment with passion and enthusiasm.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist in processing transactions to the ledgers.
  • Sales Ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
  • Help with running reports, preparing calculations, and issuing sales invoices for royalties and other items.
  • Manage organisational tasks such as booking meeting rooms and hotels.
  • Support filing backups/reconciliation and organisation within the finance department.
  • Assist with drafting and issuing legal documents for signature.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting processes.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organised, and determined to resolve issues thoroughly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
