We are Sushi Panda, a young company with a mission to surprise our guests with fresh, high-quality sushi. Were a small, friendly, family-style team that values good energy and pride in craft.
What youll do
Hand-make rolls and nigiri, cook rice, and prep fish to spec
Follow food hygiene, HACCP and allergen labelling; manage date/lot rotation
Keep your station clean and pass internal audits
Work independently or in a small team, maintaining speed and quality
Shifts: 11:0021:00 on a rota (flexible, agreed in advance)
Requirements
Hands-on Japanese kitchen experience (rolls, nigiri, rice, fish prep)
Knowledge of food safety (Level 2/HACCP a plus)
Attention to detail, reliability, punctuality
Legal right to work in the UK
Nice to have: guest-facing or service experience
Offer
£13£15 per hour DOE + paid trial shift
3545 hours per week (part-time possible)
Staff meal on shift, statutory breaks, staff discount
Training on standards and menu; growth within the team
Stable rota, no late-night finishes
Supportive, family-like working atmosphere
