We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our client's dynamic and reputable team in Harrogate. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing expertise and guidance on geotechnical projects, contributing to the successful delivery of both small and large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake geotechnical investigations, site visits, and assessments to gather essential data and information.
Design and implement geotechnical engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct detailed analysis and interpretation of geotechnical data to identify potential risks and provide recommendations.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective project management and seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure objectives are met within prescribed timeframes.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on geotechnical site investigations and design.
In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficient in geotechnical software and tools, such as Plaxis, Slope/W, FLAC, and gINT.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A self-motivated and adaptable individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
