Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: £32,000 plus commission
Hours: Full-time

We’re recruiting for an experienced Lettings Manager to join a reputable and well-established property company based in Harrogate. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to lead a busy lettings team, take ownership of office performance and ensure a first-class service is delivered to all clients.

The Role:

As Lettings Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the Harrogate lettings office, motivating and supporting your team to achieve results while maintaining a positive and professional working environment. You’ll play a key role in client relationships, business development and ensuring all lettings processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and support the lettings team to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Manage daily office operations, including diary management and workload planning.

  • Handle inbound enquiries, book viewings and valuations and liaise with landlords and tenants.

  • Conduct morning lettings meetings and prepare daily team tasks.

  • Negotiate offers and tenancy terms between landlords and tenants.

  • Maintain regular communication with landlords, providing updates on marketing and listings.

  • Oversee lettings administration including landlord and tenant sign-ups.

  • Handle and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Support business development through networking and canvassing for new landlords.

  • Provide regular progress and activity reports to management.

  • Stay up to date with local market trends, legislation, and competitor activity.

About You:

  • Proven experience in lettings management or a senior lettings role.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Confident, professional, and customer-focused approach.

  • Knowledge of lettings legislation and tenancy procedures.
