Job Title: Senior Corporate/Commercial SolicitorLocation: Local to Leeds (hybrid working available)Salary: Up to £70,000 (dependent on experience)Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays, birthday off, option to earn additional daysThe RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Corporate/Commercial Solicitor to join a friendly and supportive team, working across their offices. This role offers genuine scope to progress to Head of Department and play a key part in growing the practice.The successful candidate will inherit an existing workload from a retiring senior solicitor and will work closely with a valued client base, delivering high-quality, commercially astute advice across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of corporate and commercial work, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Shareholder agreements
  • Commercial contracts
  • Business sales and purchases
  • Restructuring and corporate governance matters
  • Advising clients across a variety of sectors with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members as required
  • Playing an active role in business development and contributing to the growth of the department
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver a joined-up service to clients

About You

  • Experienced Corporate/Commercial Solicitor (minimum 3 years + PQE)
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to handle matters autonomously
  • Excellent client care skills with a focus on building trusted relationships
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong team player with the desire to contribute to a close-knit, values-driven environment
