Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a Mechanical or Electrical background looking for a stable role in a close-knit team, whereby you will be given the chance to train and mentor apprentices whilst carrying out exciting work in the fields of Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Welding/ Fabrication, and precision CNC work?

On offer is the opportunity to join a stable and growing business currently working within the food industry for a variety of clients in Harrogate. The company provides a broad variety of engineering services including Maintenance projects, coded welding, CNC machining, as well as the supply of a variety of stainless metals.

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance for a variety of clients throughout Harrogate as well as carrying out in-housework in the companies Harrogate workshop. You will be working on but not limited to steam systems, pneumatic systems, electrical and mechanical systems, as well as guillotines, all within the food industry.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer from a Mechanical or Electrical background looking to join a tight-knit team who value and champion their employees, who is looking to train and mentor apprentices, whilst reaping the benefits of a varied and exciting workload, in-house training, career progression into team lead roles, as well as the benefit of overtime earning potential.

The Role

  • Conduct regular reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Guide and mentor apprentices

The Person

  • Maintenance Engineer from either a mechanical or electrical background
  • Commutable to sites in the Northeast.
