REED Practice are pleased to be recruiting for a great Audit and Accounts Senior. This role will consist of a 50/50 split between Audit and Accounts work so is ideal for someone who has experience with both.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, execute, and complete audits across a diverse range of sectors.
  • Delegate tasks to junior team members and oversee their progress.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, statutory audits, management accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations.
  • Ensure all reporting complies with current standards, including FRS 102 and FRS 105.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of corporation tax returns.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients, delivering professional and responsive service at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with over three years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in preparing both statutory and management accounts.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting standards, including FRS 102 and FRS 105.
  • Skilled in the preparation of corporation tax returns.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ideally experienced with Digita and MyWorkpapers software.
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members.
