THE OPPORTUNITY – Head of SEND

As HEAD OF SEND, you'll join a forward-thinking college with a substantial SEND cohort across both mainstream and specialised programs. This is your chance to make a genuine impact on students' independence, life skills development, and academic outcomes.

YOUR IMPACT
•    Shape and implement strategic vision for SEND provision across the college
•    Lead a specialised team supporting diverse needs, including deaf/hard-of-hearing students
•    Manage EHCP processes and high-needs funding allocation
•    Represent the college as SENCO and build key stakeholder relationships
•    Drive quality improvement within SEND provision

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – Head of SEND 
•    Minimum 2 years' SEN teaching/support experience in Further Education
•    Comprehensive knowledge of the 2014 SEN Code of Practice
•    Strong understanding of Learning Support funding methodologies
•    Proven team leadership experience with coaching expertise
•    Quality improvement process experience
•    Passion for inclusive education and student-centered approaches
