Our client, a prominent name in the Building Control sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Building Control Surveyor to join their team in London. The role will primarily focus on supporting residential sites in the Harrow region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations
- Assessing plans, drawings, and specifications for residential projects
- Providing expert advice on building control matters to clients and contractors
- Preparing detailed reports on findings and recommendations
- Ensuring all work meets the latest industry standards and legislative requirements
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success
Job Requirements:
- Experience in building control and familiarity with residential projects
- Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance processes
- Detailed knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and contractors
- Relevant qualification in building control or a related field
