Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: North London
Rate: Circa 350PD
Job Type: Contract - View of temp to perm
About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well established construction firm specialising in formwork and groundworks. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects (3-5) from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction contracts
Liaise with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Monitor progress and performance, proactively managing risks and resolving issues
Ensure all projects comply with legal and contractual obligations
Manage procurement, budgeting, and cost control measures across sites
Lead site teams to ensure safety, quality, and programme targets are met
Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of formwork and groundworks operations
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in tender to win new work
In-depth understanding of health & safety legislation and construction regulations
Full UK driving licence
