Part-Time Cover Supervisor (MFL Preferred) - Term Time Only - Temp to Perm - November Start - Harrow

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join an outstanding school in Harrow. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and the ability to inspire, engage and motivate students to reach their full potential.

A specialism or interest in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) is preferred, as the role may involve supporting the delivery of MFL lessons and related curriculum activities.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in education, developing classroom management skills, or gaining valuable experience within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task with the work set.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and support students with their learning activities.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and good behaviour.
Maintain accurate attendance registers during cover sessions.
Assist in the organisation of classroom materials and ensure the learning environment is tidy and well-prepared.
Where appropriate, support the teaching and learning of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) by assisting with lessons, resources, and student engagement in language learning.
Uphold the school's ethos, values, and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
