An enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher is required for a temporary full-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow, commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), fostering their confidence, communication, and collaborative skills through the medium of drama.

Responsibilities

They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
The role involves developing students' performance skills, understanding of dramatic techniques, and appreciation of theatre.
They will foster a supportive and creative learning environment that encourages experimentation and collaboration.
Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Drama, along with providing feedback, will be required.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or a closely related subject is essential.
Experience teaching Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
A solid understanding of dramatic theory and practice, with the ability to inspire students, is expected.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students and colleagues, are necessary.
