An enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher is required for a temporary full-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow, commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), fostering their confidence, communication, and collaborative skills through the medium of drama.
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role involves developing students' performance skills, understanding of dramatic techniques, and appreciation of theatre.
- They will foster a supportive and creative learning environment that encourages experimentation and collaboration.
- Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Drama, along with providing feedback, will be required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or a closely related subject is essential.
- Experience teaching Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
