About the Role:
We are partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice that provides a full range of services to individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Known for their commitment to excellent client service and long-term relationships, this growing firm is now looking to hire a proactive and organised Administrator to support their day-to-day operations and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to partners, accountants, and the wider team

Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently

Maintain and update client records with accuracy and confidentiality

Handle document preparation, scanning, filing, and archiving (both digital and physical)

Support client onboarding, including AML checks and collecting KYC documentation

Assist with diary management, meeting scheduling, and appointment coordination

Liaise with clients on document submissions and deadline reminders

Track key deadlines for tax returns, Companies House filings, and submissions

Draft letters, invoices, and engagement letters using established templates

Order office supplies and liaise with service providers

Perform general administrative tasks to ensure a compliant and efficient office environment
Requirements:
Essential:

Prior experience in an administrative role, ideally within accountancy or professional services

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines

Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
Desirable:

Experience using accountancy or CRM software (e.g., Xero, Iris, CCH)

Familiarity with AML and KYC compliance during client onboarding

Previous experience in a client-facing role
