I am recruiting an Audit Manager for an ambitious boutique accountancy practice in North West London. This is not your ordinary audit role, as there is opportunity for international travel to exciting places including Mexico, Miami, Panama and Belgium!

The Head of Audit has successfully doubled the firm's headcount and increased the audit fee revenue by an impressive amount to date and has ambitious plans to continue growth and enter the Top 100 in the future!   • Hybrid working, 3 days office and 2 days home with no set days

Audit Manager Role:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients within TMT, property investment companies, manufacturing, technology, UK subsiduaries of international clients, with US, or Australian parent companies
  • Ensuring pro-active planning & execution of all audit engagements, including open and close meetings with clients.
  • Establishing the audit approach; reviewing audit work papers and ensuring that audit files are completed in a timely manner and in line with client expectations.
  • Responsibility for managing junior members of audit department
  • Software is CaseWare

Audit Manager Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing and running a varied audit portfolio in a UK practice
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • Experience of using CaseWare audit software (or a similar audit software)
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and train in a supportive manner
