We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager with a knack for numbers and a passion for the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. This role requires robust accounting and finance skills, as well as an ability to manage financial tasks in a fast-paced environment.

5 days in the office with occasional travel to Southampton

Our client is a fast-growing hotel group based in London, established five years ago and already operating a successful portfolio of three hotels, with a fourth property due to launch soon. Known for their modern approach and commitment to quality, the company is now looking to appoint a Finance Manager to support their continued expansion. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a thriving hospitality business.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, VAT submissions, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, conduct variance analysis, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Monitor expenses, manage inventory, and provide financial insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with hotel managers to ensure alignment between financial processes and business objectives.

Profile

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid finance experience within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) are desirable but not essential.
  • Full-Driving License and access to a car
