Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-respected Pupil Referral Unit in Harrow, which is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their experienced and supportive team.

The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. Your role will involve providing consistent, firm but fair support-both in and out of the classroom-helping pupils to manage their behaviour, develop coping strategies, and engage positively with their learning. You'll be a key part of a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals to create a safe and structured environment that fosters personal and academic growth.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Prior experience supporting children or young people with behavioural challenges, ideally within a PRU or alternative provision

  • A calm, confident, and non-judgemental approach to managing behaviour

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • A passion for helping young people overcome barriers to education

  • Availability to work full-time from September 2025
