Location: Harrow, North West London
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule
What You'll Do:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in one or more core subjects ( Maths, English or Science) tailored to each student's ability and curriculum level.
- Plan and implement individualised learning programmes that address academic gaps and exam goals.
- Track student progress and provide clear, actionable feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment, with strategies adapted for students with SEN needs.
- Collaborate with families or schools where necessary to ensure consistent support.
Requirements:
- PGCE in Secondary Education or QTS
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
- Minimum 1 year teaching or tutoring at secondary level.
- Right to work in the UK
- Have or be wiling to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the current GCSE curriculum and exam board requirements.
- Patience, empathy, and an adaptable teaching style to suit a range of learners.
