Year 6 Teacher Role:

Full-time Year 6 teaching position beginning in September 2025
Responsible for delivering the full Key Stage 2 curriculum with a focus on preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments and secondary transition
Work closely with colleagues to plan engaging lessons, monitor progress, and support all learners
Establish strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff to foster a positive learning environment
Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities

Year 6 Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 - ideally Year 6
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A clear understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
A reflective and proactive approach to teaching and learning
