- Support housing operations across tenancy management, arrears prevention, estate issues, and customer service.
- Respond to general enquiries and correspondence professionally and within agreed timescales.
- Conduct home visits, tenancy audits, vulnerable resident check-ins, and settling-in visits.
- Assist with compliance processes including Gas Access and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).
- Promote community cohesion by working with tenant and resident associations.
- Handle customer-facing duties with clear communication and respect for diverse needs, in line with equal opportunities principles.
- Maintain accurate records in housing systems and support rent collection processes.
- Contribute to performance targets and participate in appraisal and development initiatives.
- Uphold confidentiality, health & safety standards, and information security protocols.
- Issue access fobs, provide duty rota cover, and carry out reasonable management tasks as requested.
- Solid understanding of housing tenancy management, including service delivery, government policies, legislative frameworks, and equality-related issues
- Working knowledge of housing and public sector legislation
- Familiarity with basic home and estate repair and maintenance matters
- Awareness of welfare benefits and how they relate to housing
- Sensitivity to minority group needs and the barriers they may face
- Proven experience in customer-focused, high-pressure environments
- Comfortable working within diverse communities
