You will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, fire suppression systems, air conditioning and other related systems for building projects. You work closely with clients to understand their needs, create detailed technical plans, and coordinate with architects and other engineers to ensure everything fits together smoothly. You will also make sure designs meet regulations, are energy efficient, and support sustainability goals. In addition, you may oversee project teams, check that installations match the plans, and keep up with industry standards and professional development.

This role is ideal for an Mechanical Design Engineer with a building services background or similar, looking to take on a key position within a dynamic and growing company that supports high-profile blue-chip clients across the UK.

THE ROLE

  • Prepare plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Produce design reports to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with the design team
  • Inspect installations and review quality and progress
  • Support design and client with operation and maintenance

THE PERSON

  • Experienced in AutoCAD, SBEM, REVIT, Hevacomp or similar software
  • Experience working with BREEAM principles
  • Degree, HNC or ONC in a relevant discipline
  • Mechanical Design Engineering experience in a consultant capacity
  • Commutable to Harrow
  • Chartered Mechanical Engineer or working towards it
