Logistics Coordinator Job Overview

Personnel Logistics:

  • Coordinate mobilisation, demobilisation, and utilisation of site personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel locations, availability, and certifications.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding and ensure all required documentation is in place.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, legal, and safety standards.
  • Provide regular updates to project and HR teams.
  • Organise inductions and safety briefings for new staff.

Equipment Logistics

  • Manage mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment across project sites.
  • Maintain inventory, condition, and certification records.
  • Coordinate dispatch, collection, and scheduling with service managers and site teams.
  • Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor shipping schedules and resolve delays or damages.
  • Keep asset management systems updated with real-time information.
  • Track and report logistics costs, supporting procurement negotiations.
Logistics Coordinator Job Requirements
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous

Logistics Coordinator Salary & Benefits
