This temporary role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £32.10 Umbrella PAYE, along with excellent training opportunities, career development prospects, and 21 days of annual leave (excluding Bank Holidays).Key Responsibilities:

Lead Harrow Council's operational and strategic response to rough sleeping, working collaboratively with key partners from statutory and voluntary sectors.
Coordinate and oversee various initiatives aimed at reducing and ultimately ending rough sleeping, ensuring effective delivery and ongoing evaluation.
Analyse outcomes, monitor progress, and implement best practices from national rough sleeper strategies and successful projects.
Work closely with the Housing Needs team, providing leadership and maintaining momentum to drive sustainable solutions to rough sleeping in Harrow.

Requirements:

Knowledge of key legislation like the Housing Act 1996 and Homelessness Code of Guidance
Understanding of housing-related benefits
Experience handling face-to-face interactions in tough situations
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
Sensitivity to the needs of diverse groups in Harrow
Ability to manage grant funding and financial data
Strong English skills, with the ability to support homeless individuals under stress
Ability to collaborate with agencies and organizations helping rough sleepers
Must have a valid driving license and access to a car
