We are currently looking for a passionateFood and Beverage assistant manager, to join ourteam on a permanent basis, with an immediate start. The suitable candidate will consistently deliver great customer service to our guests and help create a positive team atmosphere. While experience in the industry is important, great customer skills and a can-do attitude is must.

As an independent hotel there are challenges but you will have the freedom to be creative. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to bring their own ideas to the table.

You will support our deputy manager in overseeing the food and beverage operations. Duty management will also be required and you will be trained in front office systems and assisting the reception team when required.

The role will involve running a range of events including weddings and parties and overseeing our bar and restaurant operations.

We will also provide training in booking and organising events.

This a hands-on role, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

Supervise and cross-train team members, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of menu items, service standards, and safety protocols.

To drive our food and beverage product and service training, ensuring all team members have an up to date knowledge of product.

Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels for food and beverage crockery, cutlery, glassware, disposables, breakfast supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal inventory levels

To be fully aware of all guests bookings, dietary requirements and special occasions and to make sure that all team members are up to date with the booking status.

To be fully aware of all promotions in place for all F&B areas in the Hotel and to communicate them to team and to guests when appropriate.

Oversee our restaurant and bar operation.

Oversee the running of events.

You will work five days out of seven. Shifts will be 8.5 hours per day between 6.30am-1am. You will be required to work on public holidays including Christmas day. We provide 28 days of paid annual leave.

We are an independent 4-star country house hotel with 47 rooms, bar, restaurant, event rooms and garden terrace.
