A creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher is required for a temporary part-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow, commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) to develop their artistic skills and creativity.
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons covering a range of artistic disciplines to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role includes developing students' skills in various art forms.
- They will foster a stimulating and inclusive studio environment.
- Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Art, along with providing feedback, will be required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design is essential.
- Experience teaching Art lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- A good knowledge of art history and practical techniques is expected.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
