Spanish Teacher

A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a specialism in Spanish is required for a temporary full-time position at a well-regarded Independent girls' school in Harrow, commencing as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a love of the Spanish language and culture in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) within a supportive and academically focused environment.

Responsibilities

• You will plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• The role involves fostering an appreciation for Spanish culture and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the language.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Spanish is essential.
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is expected.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective Spanish lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to inspire a passion for languages, are vital.
