A leading public sector organisation is seeking a Fire Safety Officer to take ownership of all fire-related compliance activities. You’ll manage cyclical inspections, upgrade programmes, and contract performance, ensuring full adherence to fire safety legislation and landlord obligations.

Key duties of the Fire Safety Officer role include but are not limited to:

  • Lead on fire contractor management 
  • Managing fire risk assessment programme
  • Supporting fire teams on fire safety queries
  • Handling fire safety investigations.

The successful Fire Safety Officer will hold:

  • Proven experience leading fire safety teams within the housing or property sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Fire Safety
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (IFE, IFSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and performance within compliance programmes.
