Are you a dedicated and compassionate social worker looking to make a real impact in children’s lives? Join our First Response Team in Harrow, where you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families at the point of referral.
About the RoleAs a Children’s Social Worker or Senior Social Worker, you will be the first point of contact for children in need of protection and support. Working within a fast-paced, multi-agency team, you will assess risks, make informed decisions, and ensure children receive the right interventions at the right time.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and risk evaluations to safeguard children.
- Work closely with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to provide timely support.
- Develop and implement child-centered intervention plans.
- Ensure all casework is compliant with legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Take part in strategy discussions and decision-making to protect children at risk.
? A qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration.? Experience in children’s safeguarding, child protection, or front-line social work.? Strong knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance, including the Children Act 1989.? Excellent risk assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.? A resilient, empathetic, and child-focused approach to practice.
