An enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Teacher is required for a temporary full-time position at a well-regarded Independent mixed school in Harrow, commencing as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students with the principles of design and innovation, developing their practical skills and creative thinking across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).

Responsibilities

  • You'll plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons, fostering creativity and technical proficiency in areas such as product design, engineering principles, and digital design.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology is essential.
  • Experience teaching engaging and effective D&T lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and health and safety regulations is expected.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong workshop management, are vital.
