A forward-thinking Main Contractor delivering projects up to the value of £25m primarily across the commercial building sector. With a solid reputation in the industry, this main contractor gain repeat business from their client network in Central Scotland. The business has been awarded various new contracts recently and as such require an experienced CONTRACTS MANAGER to join their operations team on a permanent basis.
 

Your New Role:

All developments are in and around Central Scotland and you will oversee 3/4 simultaneously.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the business, you should be an energetic and driven Contracts Manager with experience in a similar capacity for another leading contractor.

Candidates with minimal experience in this capacity are also invited to apply as the business values career progression and will support individuals as necessary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Position works within the Operations team, taking control of up to four sites from handover through to contract delivery.

• Ensuring contracts run on budget guideline.

• Management of cost and programme forecasting.

• Regular meetings to be held with company Directors, reporting on site progress, deadlines and any issues.

Key Criteria:

• Demonstrable experience as a Contracts Manager with another main contractor.

• A confident and articulate communicator.

• SMSTS qualification.

• CSCS.

• Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.
