Teaching Assistant

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Hartlepool, County Durham to assist them to find a Teaching Assistant to support them ASAP. The role is available to start immediately and will be ongoing until Summer 2025 at least and will involve you working 8.30am- 3.30pm, 5 days a week.

The lovely school require a Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and 2 when needed. The school require someone with the relevant qualification who can join them and hit the ground running.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

·Working across the school to support children and work with small groups of children - may require some one-to-one work

·Recording evidence of key children meeting targets

·Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed

Teaching Assistant Requirements

·A relevant Level 3 qualification

·Ability to provide 2 x educational based references

·Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children

·Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge

·Good behaviour management
