We are partnering with a leading North East Law firm in search of a senior conveyancer.

Job Description:

In this position, you will have the opportunities for great career progression and to work in an incredibly supportive team. This position requires at least 2 years PQE and is great for someone ready to take the next step into a senior position or to excel their career.

This firm will support you in your career, offering to put you through the CILEX qualifications in order to become a Conveyancing Legal Executive.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end conveyancing for residential and commercial properties.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and legal advice.

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer documents, and settlement statements.

  • Perform title searches, check encumbrances, and ensure legal compliance.

  • Mentor junior staff, allocate work, and ensure quality control.

  • Communicate with banks, real estate agents, and government bodies.

  • Identify legal risks and ensure adherence to regulations and firm policies.

  • Organise and attend settlements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Significant experience in conveyancing

  • At least 2 years PQE
