Do you have experience supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)?
Join our dedicated and inclusive team at a welcoming secondary school in the heart of South Tyneside.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work closely with pupils with EHCPs, providing tailored academic and emotional support to help them reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting students with EHCPs in both classroom and one-to-one settings
  • Implementing personalised learning strategies and care plans
  • Collaborating with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Promoting inclusion and positive learning experiences across the school

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people with additional needs or disabilities
  • Understands EHCPs and the importance of differentiated support
  • Is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child succeed
  • Can build positive, respectful relationships with students and staff
  • Holds a relevant L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification (desirable)
