We are now seeking an accomplished Sales Director to lead and scale our Utilities Division—a high-growth area poised for expansion across Gas, Water, and Energy sectors.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a growing business unit. You’ll build upon our established presence within the Gas sector while driving strategic expansion into new markets. Your focus will be on delivering commercial growth, elevating client value, and developing a specialist proposition that positions Orion as the talent partner of choice across the UK Utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve a deep understanding of the current business model, client base, commercial performance, bench risk profiles, and growth opportunities
  • Lead the development of new business initiatives for both new and existing clients
  • Enhance existing solution offerings to better align with market demands
  • Design and implement marketing strategies that reflect solution offerings
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through strategic market analysis
  • Develop and execute a hiring plan for sales and delivery that supports business growth objectives
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Collaborate with the Board on divisional strategies and long-term growth initiatives
