Holy Cross Hospital is a registered Charity, owned by the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross. Our expertise is in the provision of neurorehabilitation for our patients. We presently have 42 in-patient beds and provide outpatient physiotherapy for the local community.

Job summary

At Holy Cross we understand the importance of balanced work and home life and therefore take a flexible approach to working. Thats why we actively encourage job share and part time working alongside full time physiotherapists. Due to the developments that will be happening at the hospital we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, professional Neuro Physiotherapist/s to join our inpatient physiotherapy team to help provide a high standard of service by assessing, planning and delivering individual treatment programmes.

About you

Successful applicants must be HCPC registered with an interest in complex Neuro-disability management and neurorehabilitation. Basic knowledge in spasticity management, posture management, hydrotherapy, splinting and experience with ventilated patients and patients with tracheostomies is desirable. You will be accountable for the delivery of our patient care in a way that is Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive, Effective and Well Led.

You will have the opportunity to continue your professional development and have access to expert clinical supervisors. In addition to in-house supervision you will also have opportunities to take part in research and service development activities.
