Electrical Design Engineer

£30-42k - 34 hours per week / 20% Annual Bonus / Cycle To Work Scheme

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Creating detailed electrical schematics and control panel layout drawings

• Creating single line diagrams / block cable diagrams, termination diagrams and cable calculations / load schedules for electrical installations

• Creating BOM’s for control panel manufacturing

• Understanding Process Instrumentation Diagrams

• Liaising & monitoring control panel manufacture

• Specifying electrical components needed on bespoke control systems

• Live testing of control panels and producing test reports

• Work with Project, Mechanical and Software Engineers, as required

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Demonstrable experience of designing control panels

• Eplan experience is preferred but will accept other electrical CAD software knowledge such as AutoCAD, Solidworks Electrical or Zuken

• Ability to deal with clients and suppliers

• Be prepared to attend site occasionally to assist with installations or perform site modifications

• Good IT and analytical skills.

Located in Lancashire, this role would be commutable from Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington, Bury, Rochdale and Bolton
