In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting drawings/layouts and producing take off lists accordingly, in addition to reviewing specifications to understand clients needs/requirements. You will also be responsible for producing formal tender submissions as well as reviewing/adjusting Estimations based on any changes in the project scope. Finally, you will be responsible for understanding not just materials needed, but also labour and overhead costs.
The ideal Estimator will have previous experience within an Estimating position. You will also have previous experience within the Construction sector, as well as a basic knowledge of MEP services. Ideally you will have prior experience within the Fire Protection industry. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
The Role:
- Interpreting drawings/layouts and producing a take off list
- Producing accurate Tenders
- Determining overhead costs as well as materials and personnel
The Person:
- Previous experience in an estimating position
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry/MEP Services
- Knowledge of the Fire Protection Industry
