A Thriving school in the Hatfield Peverel area is looking for a dedicated Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their  team. Within this role, you will provide personalized support to students with a range of complex physical, and emotional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-             Assist students with complex needs in their daily activities and learning tasks Provide 1:1 and small group support to enhance student engagement and    progress.

-             Inspire the students to reach their full potential.

-             Work closely with teachers and specialists to create tailored support plans for each student.

-            Offer emotional and social support, helping students build confidence and self-esteem

-            Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

-            Offer emotional and social support, helping students build confidence and self-esteem.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications

-            Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a learning support role.

-            A passion for supporting students with a variety of Complex needs and helping them reach their full potential.

-              Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, supportive   relationships with students, staff, and parents.

-             Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.

-             A proactive, team-focused approach to work.

-            Relevant experience working with children that have Complex needs.
