Document Controller – Office/home based 
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Hatfield 

A leading property services company specialising in social housing is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their dynamic team. Based in the Hatfield  office, this role will support contracts across the South of England, ensuring efficient management and control of project documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain project documentation using View Points and Field View ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Support project teams with document submissions, retrievals, and approvals.

  • Develop and implement efficient document control procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of all project correspondence with robust version control.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to oversee document distribution and submission.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation meets contractual and regulatory standards.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.

  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.

  • Knowledge of social housing and planned maintenance projects (advantageous but not essential).
