Assembly Operative Required ASAP Welham Green (Near Hatfiield) 12.80 - 14.34ph

Role: Assembly Operative (Electro-Mechnaical)

Location: Welham Green

Rate: 12.80ph - 14.34ph

Duration: Long-term, could lead to permanent work for the right candidates

Working Hours: Monday till Thursday 7.30 until 16.15

Friday 7.30 till 15.00

Main Responsibilities:

• Manufacture mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies and products following production SOP (standard operating procedures).
• Ability to work to set targets and demands.
• Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping.
• Operate machinery and equipment using PPE provided.
• Continuously monitor the production process, including visual inspection and functional test, to ensure product meets the agreed quality and safety standards.
• Adhere to production documentation and maintain records as required.
• Be self-motivated, using effective communication and work using own initiative or within a team.
• Liaise with Team Leaders/Manufacturing Manager to identify issues and opportunities for improvements.

Interested candidates must have previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and in the assembly of electro-mechanical components.

Previous soldering experience would be advantageous.
