Job Title: Materials Controller – Reach truck
Salary: £13.40 per hour
Location: Welham Green
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: 7:30am – 16:15pm & 7:30am – 15:00pm
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and hard-working Materials Controller to join our Material Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to assist in all functions of goods in, cycle counting and materials handling operations within our material logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach and can work within a team environment. Training will be provided, but some familiarity with working in a busy warehouse environment, and someone who holds a valid Reach Forklift licence would be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encompass aspects of receiving goods, stock handling, stock locating, and picking of works orders and cycle counting.
- Perform perpetual inventory counts.
- User Forklift truck to ensure all stock is in the correct place, is correctly stored, securely wrapped and within the respective locations.
- Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with relevant internal departments.
- Ensure that good Housekeeping and health and safety regulations are adhered to within your work area.
- Maintain knowledge of products and processes involved in the day-to-day delivery of goods.
- Deal with any stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently.
- Support and suggest the effective management of inward & outward flow of inventory.
